Pregnant after 35

I should just move my desk to the bathroom

It's been 8 years since my last pregnancy...but I swear I don't remember having to pee this much. It's like every hour on the hour. And even in between trips to the bathroom, I still feel pressure on my bladder. So really, I almost constantly feel like I need to go.

OK, that's my vent for the day. Big Smile

  • On the bright side, you're getting up regularly from your desk, which is very good for you! Sitting for long periods has been shown to have some detrimental health effects over time.

It is supposed to get better in the 2nd tri. Hang in there!

ETA: Oh, wait, you already are in the 2nd tri! Well, I got nothin' then. Embarrassed

  • I concur! My last pregnancy was 2.5 years ago and I never had to pee this much. The hourly nighttime bathroom trips didn't start until the very end on that one. This time I've been hitting up the bathroom at least 3x a night since 2nd Tri. Also this baby is riding low in my uterus and is constantly bumping on my bladder making me feel like I have to pee ALL DAY! Ugh...sigh, vent over :)

  • I was better but this week my need pee is back in full force.  Good news is that I can leave any meeting to go to the bathroom and everyone is understanding (not that I would take advantage of that).

Oh I would. I've gotten out of a couple of really boring staff meetings that way.

    Wink
