And tell me this is worth it... or that it will improve... because right now, I might go crazy.
I just spent 2 hours and 20 minutes trying to get L to sleep for her nap. I started with CIO, and of course, she pooped again. So I change her, let her nurse again, and put her back in the crib. Fast forward 2 hours later and she's still screaming. She ended up falling asleep sitting up, so I try to lay her back down. Bad idea apparently. She woke up screaming again.
She FINALLY fell asleep and I'm thinking, "Sweet, I have at least an hour to myself to just decompress and bake some cookies."
She woke up 20 effing minutes later!
I just started crying. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with her naps? Maybe she was still hungy? Obviously she had a clean diaper after I changed her.... I'm just at a loss right now because she is doing so well at night (The past 3 nights we've CIO she's slept over 8 hours).
Somebody give me creepy internet hugs and tell me it will be ok.
Re: Somebody hold me
Creepy internet hugs to you.
I'm guessing this is way oversimplifying it, but have you thought about moving her nap a little later? It sounds like her poop schedule has changed a bit. Maybe if you wait until after the morning dirty, you'll only have to put her down once and things will go more smoothly.
That being said, I have no room to give advice. DD naps perfectly for two hours at daycare and on weekends, at home, we have to trick her into 20 minutes with a stroller ride.

So sorry!
this, since I can't GIF.
I agree with the others, Maybe you should try to wait a bit longer to put her down until she has had her diaper changed and is nursed. Then put her down and close the door.
Im sure she will catch on soon
I never thought of doing the "15 minute" rule.. I will definitely be trying that tomorrow!
Thanks for all the internet hugs ladies.. PSD that gif was hilarious btw haha!
Also, MH is now in the dog house because when I told him what happened he replied with "Well, you had a few hours to yourself last night to do the dishes and watch TV"
Argh.. men
I'm so sorry and ((((hugs)))) for you.
I don't really have any advice but maybe this link will give you some levity
I don't know if you've heard this before...it's read by Samuel L. Jackson....sooo wrong, but hilarious. I fall out laughing every time I hear it! It's a short book called "Go the F to sleep"
