sleeping on his face...

LO's new sleeping position is flat on his face....Ugh..makes me so nervous. I move him off his but he goes right back there. So now I tilt his head so that his nose is not squished that he can't breathe and I check on him very often. Anyone else?

  • This would totally drive me crazy. If he keeps it up, you might consider an Angel Care monitor to help with piece of mind.

  • One of my boys does the same thing. We have an Angelcare monitor, and his went off for the first time last night. We ran into the nursery, and he was fine but OMG scared me to death! I wonder if it was a false alarm or the sound of the alarm startled him awake...

  • I understand your worry. I'd probably be worried to. But I think at this age they are capable of lifting their head and moving so its not as much of a problem.

  • DD has been a belly sleeper since about 4 weeks and sometimes does this. I noticed that she does eventually move her head, even in her sleep, so it must be some sort of comfortability thing for a little while. It made me nervous too, but thankfully she seems to have stopped doing it.
