we want to take DS trick or treating but want to hand out candy too...
i'm thinking maybe we'll go early at like 530 to a couple neighbours - obviously to get DS all the candy...none for us! ha!
then hang out at home and pass out candy
what are you doing?
Re: What are you doing halloween?
I hadn't even thought of Halloween until reading this post. Now, I've gone and ordered Star Trek uniforms for the whole family. We're all Command Officers since we look good in red ;-) The whole Operations/Engineering (gold) uniforms aren't flattering on many people, and I just don't see myself as a Science/Medical officer (teal/blue).
As for plans, we're wearing our uniforms to work all day because how cool is that!?!?! And then, we'll take Liam to the shops on Main Street that pass out treats maybe and trick-or-treat for UNICEF definitely.
Mac and cheese lover!
Since walking is becoming harder and harder now (7 weeks 5 days til due date), I don't think I will be taking Olivia out. Paternal grand parents and aunts and uncles live close so she will go there, DH and the older girls will go into town to take her around, I do not want her to miss out because she would love seeing all the kids dressed up.
We only have 5 visitors for Halloween, my nieces and nephews. We live out in the country so no one comes around.
I'm taking both girls out. Last year, Genevieve went too and went up to a few houses of people we knew and then napped in the stroller for the next 2 hours. This year, I'll let her go up to as many houses as she wants with her big sister and then put her in the stroller when she gets tired. Trick or treating is a marathon event for DD1.
We usually put a bowl on our front porch with goodies and leave a sign. We live on a dead end road, so we don't get a lot of kids. There is always stuff left in the bowl when we get home.
