How much sleep....

Is normal at this age? Use the adjusted age so almost 2 months. e is sleeping between 9.5 and 10 hours straight at night and napping during the day. He's happy and growing and doing everything right but I'm not sure if this is too much sleep. Do I need to keep him awake more during the day? I'm not home all day but I know he's napping for his care giver.

Woo that sounds great! I think it's okay, unless he is being fussy or seems upset for no reason? Chloe is 6.5 weeks and only sleeps max 6 hours straight, but usually in 3 to 5 hour segments at night, and a couple 2 hour max naps during the morning. Maybe one in the afternoon. Average about 14 hours a day max. But I couldn't tell you average, that's just her normal.

Oh I am definitely happy!!! He was doing 10 hours with one wake up for the past month then this week he stopped waking up... I still wake up at his normal time though!! He's ebf so everyone told me to be prepared for 3 hour feeds until I stopped. We showed them

Eta Ffc I miss the middle of the night feedings. I woke up early so I could cuddle with him for a half hour after GE was done though so that helped

The range is quite broad. 1316 hrs. However if they are sleeping that good at night then I wouldn't worry about their naps during the day being too much

My son is doing the same thing. He sleeps for 10 hrs straight wakes up at 8 to eat then goes back to bed until 10 or so. He naps during the day too. I'm happy with the sleep but once I go back to work I will have to wake him at 6:30. So much for never waking a sleeping baby. ( He is ebf)

fortunately E wakes up at 6 or 6:30 so it works with my schedule now that I am back to work. he then goes back to sleep for a few hours ... hopefully you guys can get on the same schedule!
