Are you still putting LO in the infant insert that comes with the bathtub? DS hardly fits into the insert. He looks so crammed. Lol. What are you all doing for baths?
we stopped using the fabric hammock thing maybe 1.5 months ago. we still use the butt stopper insert tho so he doesn't slide too far down. he likes to splash around which he couldn't do in the infant insert
We use a giant foam pad like thing inside the baby tub. I would love it if she could sit up a little more, though... what is this butt stopper insert you speak of?

We still use the mesh hammock that came with DS's tub. He can sit up assisted but I want to wait till he can sit unassisted before we take the mesh off.

I never used his infant bath tub. I tried once and he was so slippery that I stopped using it. I bathe him in our tub and will go in with him. He loves it and looks forward to bath time.
I stopped using the insert months ago. She got way too big for it. She sits on the infant side of her little bath tub, which has her in a reclined position, but there is a little ridge she sits on. Once she is comfortable sitting unassisted I'll move her to the regular tub, which is what I did with her brother.

We never had an insert...we got the tub from a friend so not sure if the tub came with one or we just didn't get it as well. He loves his tubby time...he splashes, and a couple weeks ago learned how to pour with the cup we use for rinsing. He practices sitting up in the tub and does a kind of 'crunch' where he pulls his head forward and knees up. When he sits unassisted he'll get baths in the regular tub.
ETA: We have the FP whale tub below, looks like there is no insert.

We stopped using it about a month ago. DD seemed somewhat uncomfortable in it and I wanted her to enjoy the water more. Now that she's pretty good about sitting up (with assistance, of course), it's also nice for her to be able to look straight down and see her feet under the water.
It's a little harder to support her that way, but hopefully she'll be sitting on her own soon enough...

Agreed. We only stopped a week or two ago, but this is what we do now

Same for me.
Except we only used the sling once. My DS was too big for it from the beginning!
DH gives her a bath usually and he uses the sling still. She's just started to really like the water and begin to play with it a little so we may take her out soon. We tried taking her out the sling and it was jsut too slippery so we put it back in.
