Old Navy maternity

I broke down and ordered maternity clothes online from Old Navy and couldn't be happier! With the 30% off code, free shipping, and big sale they had going, I got 7 tops and 3 pairs of pants for $100. I made 2 separate orders. I got 4 tops and a pair of jeans last week and was so happy with the quality, fit, and price, I made a second order of 3 tops, a pair of comfy pants, and some khaki trousers. Would definitely recommend ON! Anyone else know of any good stores for cheap, cute maternity clothes?

And one minor complaint.... I needed a new bra because my boobs have increased from their typical 32B. I went to H&M and got a great 34C bra for only $7..... was so happy with my purchase until 3 days later it was already too small..... I am now a 36D! Good thing I got a $5 gift card from H&M to use on my next purchase. Will be buying my new bra for only $2! Do you ladies think there is a chance my boobs will shrink back to size C after baby? I will be very sad if this brand new bra is basically trash.

Re: Old Navy maternity

  • Can I just say that I am jealous?  Old Navy does not carry maternity clothes in Canada (at least, not where I am). Most department stores in my city have stopped carrying it as well, so I have to resort to little boutique stores which can get pretty expensive (certainly, nothing like Old Navy prices).  The best I've found is Thyme Maternity - their prices are reasonable in comparison to others.

  • A lot of ON in the US don't carry clothes. I had to order online because I couldn't get them at the local store. Do they ship to Canada?

I live in North Carolina and have the same issue. My mom even did some looking for me near where she lives in Maryland and found nothing either. I have just resorted to buying online.

  • I'm in Missouri and our ON stores don't carry the maternity in store so also had to order online. Also Gordman's carries Motherhood and if you have a Burlington they have a great maternity section.

  • My old navy uses has 3 maternity items total so I buy it all online. I love their stuff and their prices!

I usually place a big order all at once so I can get the free shipping

  • I live in Toronto and H&M carries a small maternity section. There's not a lot, but its trendy and very reasonably priced.. if you have an H&M near you, it may be worth checking out!

  • I'd hang on to the bra.  After nursing my son (10.5 months) my boobs went back to their pre-pregnancy B cups.  I wish they'd stayed bigger for a while, but no such luck!

  • I don't think any stores carry maternity anymore. I know their flagship NYC store has a VERY limited selection... It's mostly online.
  • I am pretty happy with my Old Navy stuff from my last pregnancy and the few pieces I've gotten this go around so far. My store still has a maternity section! It's not a ton and right now is season-wise completely out of touch (105 here today, I am NOT wearing cords and sweaters!).

  • Our old navys here have maternity sections. I also have bought some target stuff from the maternity section like my jeans.

  • I live in South Jersey and our Old Navy carries a very small maternity section back in the clearance section. I did order online, however, I am between a medium and a large right now so I am holding on to the few things that are just a bit too big still.

As far as bust is concerned, I went from a 36C to a 38D and I still have not bought a new bra yet. I bought the Bra Extenders from Wal-Mart and they have worked wonders until now. I am starting to overflow. I am half tempted to buy a few sports bras because the underwire is so uncomfortable when you have those days with sore boobs!!

  • When i visited my mom in Poughkeepsie, ny there was a small maternity section.  Where I live in CT there is apparently a section as well (although it must be small since I don't remember it being there).  I was able to get a few shirts and a pair of jeans but after going shopping this past weekend I may take the pants back.  My other jeans fit SO much better and I know what to look for now instead of guessing with my mom.

I did buy a ton online and it was delivered this past weekend.  I unfortunately had to buy basically two of everything because I'm in weird sizes and the pants are always an unknown.  I'll update how it goes!

  • I'm in Canada and they have maternity clothes at the 2 ON stores in this province. My complaint is they don't have them on the website :
  • I haven't ordered anything from Old Navy yet, but definitely plan to.  I just placed an online order to Target.  They do free shipping on $50 or over and they have a bunch of clearance/sale items right now in their maternity section.  Also, I have heard that Kohl's has a great selection as well!  So, I plan to check them out as well!

  • I just ordered my maternity wardrobe from Old Navy and I cant wait to get it! I ended up with 2 pr of jeans 6 shirts 1 hoodie and a pr of sweats and after the 30% discount and the free shipping it cost less than $125! I was amazed...we had a $200 gift card so wound up spending the rest of it on bigger clothes for our 6 year old son who decided to have a growth spurt the 2nd month of school! I also hit up Target and got about $200 worth of maternity dress clothes for work. Cute and cheap too! Honestly starting to feel guilty about all of the money my mom has been spending on maternity clothes for me...warned her if she bought anymore I would have to have another baby just so I didnt feel like it was a waste! Her arguement is that the clothes are so much cuter now than when she had my brother and I! Big Smile
