  • According to the SSA list it dropped from #299 in 2010 to #304 in 2011, so slightly less popular.

Tori Spelling used it for her DS this summer.

I love it! I also like Phineas and Finnegan, Finola and Fiona.

  • I feel like it is getting more common but not popular. I don't know of any Finn's IRL and haven't hear too much talk about it lately.
  • More popular than 10 yrs ago, but I don't think it's very popular.  I only know one IRL.

    *Siggy Warning*

  • I hear it a LOT on this board... but have yet to meet one. As a PP said, I think it's getting more common but I wouldn't exactly call it popular.

  • Not here. I don't know any Finns IRL. DD would have been Finn if she had been a boy.

  • It's popular by me. I have three friends from college that named their sons Finn, and my son has one in his class. That said, it's a great name and I don't think it is wildly popular like Aidan.
  • I've never heard it IRL but am curious to see if popularity increases after the next hunger games movie since one of the characters in the 2nd book is Finnick.... Probably over thinking but that's what I first thought of when I heard Finn

  • I was going to use it as baby's middle name, but I let my sister have it for her baby. I did see it in the PBK catalog, so just wondering if it was in the rise. I hate seeing my boys names in there :( I think I'll be safe with baby #3's name if he ever comes to be! :) thanks for the input!

  • Where I'm from, no. I'm a newborn photographer and so far I've only seen one Finn. I have seen a couple Finleys, though.

  • In all? I would say yes. But it does appear to be rather regional. It's not popular where I live but in the midwest it seems to be getting more popular.

I wish Finn was popular here...I've been seeing alot of Ayden's :(

  • I've been hearing it a lot lately. Honestly I don't see the appeal. It reminds me of fish...
