So, we traded in my cool and zippy sedan for a minivan this weekend. Who knew one could be so excited for power sliding doors and tailgate? Embarrassed

Hahaha... I'm slowly but surely resigning myself to the fact that my next chariot will be a minivan. DH was getting his car serviced at the Honda dealership and while we were waiting I was checking out the Honda Odyssey in the showroom. The amount of compartments and organization and total utility on the inside had my OCD-meter flying off the charts. I forsee DH and I arguing about who is going to drive and who gets to hang out in the back with the kids.

This is EXACTLY how it happened. DH has been bugging me for a while, and would drag me into the showroom every time I would get my car serviced. I've been trying to fight it for a while, but finally gave in. Big Smile

Haha, my dh is the one fighting it...we just bought an Elantra as my commuter car, but we'll see how long we keep it if #2 comes along.

LOL. We rented a minivan during our vacay and H loved it and said he wouldn't mind one w/ all the bells and whistles. I was reminded of the movie Get Shorty when gangsters and elite film makers bought one to ride in style.

We have a Sienna, and I LOVE it, especially the power sliding doors! My BIL calls it "the living room on wheels" haha.

We have a 2012 Odyssey, and we love it! We only have DD so far, but it's been awesome for road trips (DH's family lives in another state), and the features just can't be beat!

I'm not a minivan kind of gal, I got a crossover SUV. My mommy mobile in style :-)

Don't get me wrong, I've seen some nice looking minivans :-) !

We got a minivan a little over a year ago. I swore up an down I would never drive one, but I love it. We found out the following month after buying it that we were expecting DD2 (talk about perfect timing). I love the power doors and I also love how I sit up higher. I feel so low to the ground when I drive DH's car. It is also nice b/c if one of the girls need something, I can easily get back to them...rather then trying to crawl over the center consol. Oh, and I really appreciate all the extra room.
