Late night check in

Is it too early for this? LO slept all day, I woke her every 2-3 hours to eat but then she went right back to sleep. Now she will sleep but only if I'm snuggling her. DH is next to me snoring and I'm afraid to move because I'm pretty sure I left the paci downstairs and that's so far away! Might be a long night!

Good morning!

Can a baby be overfed? Lol. Last time we went to the pedi, my milk had come in and he gained 13 oz in 2.5 days. Dr double checked because she couldn't believe it and neither could I. Today's apptmt he was up another 6 ounces. He only nurses for 15 minutes, one boob a feeding, and it always seems like he is doing more resting and less eating but I guess not.

He didn't sleep well at all today. Had to wake him up from his only real nap because we were at the pedi apptmt. Thankfully, he fell asleep at 9 and I let him sleep until over four and a half hours since his last feeding since he is a chunkster and I didn't get a nap at all today either...

I've been trying to get Nola to sleep for 2 hours. She only had one good nap today so I think she's overstimulated and/or overtired. She's comfort nursing lying down now so I hope this does the trick because I've pretty much worn out all my other methods.

It's only 10:30 here, but from 5 to 8 DS was feeding 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. At 8 he went on and we just had to force him off at 10:15. I'm hoping to get a good stretch of sleep out of him right now...somehow I doubt it though.

At the hospital with my sick little guy. He's on three antibiotics. Nurse says spinal results look good but his fever is going back up. Praying that it comes back down. Poor guy has so many tubes, this is just so scary.

I'm up and in labour! Breathing through some pretty intense contractions 2 to 4 min apart. MW left about 2 hours ago and said everything still on track for home birth, but I was only 2 to 3 cm dilated at that time. Waiting for things to really jumpstart.....

Wow I will probably meet my baby today!

At night DS insists on being held to sleep. We had gotten rid of this habit and he slept wonderfully for a few nights in a row (never for very long, but he'd sleep in between feedings without me holding him) but then we went to visit ILs (overnight) now he won't sleep again. I didn't want to go to ILs to start with, now I resent the trip because it ruined what we had going.

I'm up nursing DS. I'm hoping he goes right back to sleep after but we'll see. Last night he was up for 3 hours during his first night feeding so I'm hoping that's not a new trend.

I'm up, nursing LO bc she just won't settle. Shes been to bed and tosses/turns and cries. I might give in and let her sleep on me.

I'm here nursing. We had an amazing day today. We met with a new LC who gave us such confidence. Our latch has really improved and he is emptying the breast so much better. He's had 5 wet diapers today and a huge poop. I'm hoping we can stop supplementing soon.

Nursing. My little 5 to 10 minute one boob nurser is growth spurting all day and eating 15 minutes on both sides every hour or so. Ouch! Laying here and I hear my dog puke. Coupled with her bugs, her fur and her new thing of peeing when visitors come by, I'm really annoyed with her.

tags: I had to stick the stupid dogs in the garage the other day and your post just reminded me that when I let them out one had puked. Yet to be cleaned, oops!

Those dogs have always been my babies, but these days I want to put them outside between the unnecessary barking and the extra floor sweeping bc of their hairballs.

LO fell asleep on my lap, just moved her to crib. Crossing fingers and hoping that if she doesn't stir, I'm back to bed!

I'm here. My guy has decided he needs to eat nonstop...he ate from 6:47 to 8:55 tonight, gave me a half hour break, and then nursed for well over an hour again. It was almost midnight by the time we got to bed. And then he woke up to eat only two and a half hours later. Ack. Growth spurt much?

Jake just slept for a straight 4 hours after I fed him at 10... It was amazing! Now I'm up nursing and my right nipple feels like it's going to fall off! The left side has become almost pain free but the right seems to have gotten worse! Ugh, the things we do for these kids... Haha!

Up since 1:45 with LO. He's had 4 oz. and should be milk drunk, but he's wide awake. Of course this is the night before his newborn pictures in the morning, so we'll look extra exhausted in the photos. Yippee..

I'm up nursing DS, as usual. He ate ate 12 and it's now 330 do I'm hoping he'll sleep until almost 7 after this but I kind of doubt it.

I'm here pumping. I didn't set my alarm to wake DD up because she has been waking up at on her own at night to eat. Well she went for a good 5 hour stretch and now my boobs are full. But the sleep was fantastic!

Woke up to nurse LO... he went pretty good at my boob for about 8 minutes then nodded off again, so I'm torn between letting him just sleep for another 2 1/2-3 hours or waking him fully and continuing to nurse... *sigh*

Jason has had a fever all day it finally broke around 9 and he slept from 930 till 3 but now hes just yelling at me and has woke the whole house up so now its 430 and all my kids are up.

I am here. We were up at @ 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. She just ate, and now I am rocking her to sleep. DH will be up in the next twenty minutes, and it is our first day without him. I am feeling so emotional about it! Really going to miss him.

My LO was very cranky yesterday too. It was awful. Mine eats 1.5 oz every 2-3 hours, and sometimes acts hungry immediately after. How much are you feeding her? I am so clueless!

I'm currently staring at that sweet little milk coma face that makes it all worth it. I am hoping though to put him in his swing in a few minutes and get a few more hours of sleep... After eating all day yesterday, the four hours I got before this feeding was pretty glorious.

3am here and we're on our 2nd nursing session. For some reason DS will go 34 hours on his first stretch of sleep, then only 12 thereafter. Need to work on this.
