Are all of your friends your age?

Half of my friends are older than me by ten years or more and now I have a another set of friends that are 20-24. I have maybe 4-5 people who are more than acquaintances, my age, and that I would actually hang out with.

I'm not counting MH's friends.

I guess I just feel weird going to the zoo with my friend and her grand kids. I have taken this same friend out to some bars. Once she asked what to wear. I told her just wear something fun and casual. She showed up in a Winnie the Pooh vest. I about died.

Apparently fun for her is a little chubby bear who has a thing for honey... At least it wasn't a puffy paint kitty sweatshirt.

Most of my friends are my age. I guess is stems more from staying close to my childhood friends in a small community. We all didn't go far, which is actually nice most of the time. We all have children who play with one another, and we are able to see each others' children grow up. I do have a couple of friends my parents age. I kept in touch with a few of my mother's friends after she passed away. It's kind of nice to have a more mature perspective.

Most of my friends are in their 30s, like me. But they range from 3039 and are in varying stages of their lives. I do have some friends in their late 20s, but not a large number since they keep getting older!

My girlfriends are about plus or minus 5 years from my age. At work my closest buddies are between the ages of 50 and 60, and I'm closer to their daughters age. They are more like mothers to me.

Most all of my friends are my age, but one of my best friends has a daughter my age. I've never seen her in a Winnie the Pooh sweater though

Haha, that gave me a good laugh! To answer your question, my age range of friends varies a lot. My longtime friends from h.s. and college are all the same age. I am also close with my old coworkers which ages range from 30s to 60s. One of my closest friends from that group is the same age as my mom! Now that I'm a SAHM, most of my mom friends are around my age or a little older (by 3-6 years). I think I'm the youngest mom (and I'm not young by any means) in my playgroup of 15.

Most of my friends are plus or minus five years from my age. I do have a few friends that are my mother's age, though, and I have absolutely been embarrassed by what they have shown up to a bar wearing...oh, well, life's too short to worry about that kind of thing I guess, right?

I'd say half are roughly my age and the rest are older. I hang out with a lot of church ladies.

The Winnie the Pooh vest is cracking me up!

Most of my friends are about 4 years older than me (I'm 31), but I'm the only one with a child. I have another set of friends who are in their early to mid twenties who I hung out with a lot this summer, one of them being my sister. They like to party, and I always joke that they keep me young.

I have a handful of really close friends who are all my age (27) .. we went to high school/college together.

MH has a ton of close friends who all have wives/FI/girlfriends and over the years, they have become my friends, too. They are all a little older, maybe 2-5 years but that's it. No sweater vests here haha.

I'm in my mid-30s and most of my friends are either 5 years older or younger. And almost all are in the same phase of life--little kids, having babies, etc. I love it--the scary thing is that when my mom was my age, I was 14 years old!
