HSG due to c-setion

Hi all,

I am going for an HSG tomorrow, because my RE said that sometimes your tubes could be blocked after having a c-section.  I had no idea!  Just wanted to know if anyone knew this or to share for others who could benefit from it.  TTC#2 and have already done 2 cycles of clomid.  Just finished my last clomid pills today so hoping that this is our cycle.  Conceived my son after my 1st HSG.  Hoping I am as lucky this time!

    The HSG helps them see any scar tissue that could have developed from the c-section.

    Pretty much anytime you have surgery on your lower abdomen, there is a chance for scar tissue to cause problems with your reproductive system.  Since this isn't something that happens all the time or even all that often, they don't worry about it until there is a problem.

     Hope your tubes show clear again and that this helps you to get to #2.

    DD conceived after 3 years of ttc.
    MFI - DH had varicocele repair and took Clomid to get DD b. 02/2010

    TTC #2 since 6/2010
    10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
    A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013. 
    DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair. 
    Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies. 
    Wishing, hoping, waiting.

    This. I also had a c/s and have been ttc#2 for 15 months. I have a doctor appt tomorrow to discuss a possible hsg and or lap. (I'm having other issues like chronic pelvic pain and some scar discomfort) Good Luck and I hope your tubes are clear!

    Well my tubes are clear, which is a big relief!  Going in on Saturday for Cycle day 12 ultrasound.  Praying for mature follies so we can trigger and do IUI.
