What To Expect The First Year - any good?

I wanted to get some kind of book about baby's growth and development the first year...any recommendations?

Our pediatrician actually recommended What to Expect the First Year. I would also HIGHLY recommend the Wonder Weeks. Helps explain your baby's fussy periods and subsequent developmental leaps.

I have the What to expect books (set of three) and really enjoy the layouts of the chapters in them. I think they are a pretty good guideline as far as being on course with MOST baby's. I have read a few other books, and I like that I can just open this to a specific section and not have to read everything before if I choose not to.
