I voted for "I work and wouldn't change it". I pick Em up from DC between 2;30 and 2;45 everyday, so I still get a lot of time with her in the afternoon and evenings. If I worked later, I would like to change my situation.

I voted "I SAH and wouldn't change it," but really my thoughts change pretty often. I usually love being a SAHM, but sometimes I miss my old job and I'm afraid I'll lose clinical skills if I stay home too long. I'd like to find some per diem work but I don't really know what I'd do about childcare if I were only working a few hours a week.
I voted - pt/best of both worlds. I like the balance of staying home and working part time. I LOVE what I do and can't imagine giving it up. Plus I can dress up 2 days a week. I love picking up our son from DC in pumps. I feel like a hot mama
I voted I work an want to change it. I didn't see the PT option before I picked. I work 30 to 40 hours a week, depending on H's schedule. I'd give anything to SAH.
I put that I SAH and wouldn't change it, which is true for right now. I do plan to look for a per diem or part-time job that will allow me to work just 1-2 days a week, but I'm not planning to start looking until next year. We just moved cross country and want to get settled in here before we make any more big changes.

I picked "I work PT - the best of both worlds". When I'm not on maternity leave, I work 4 days a week. I like working and the 1 day at home with LO is enough for me.
I picked WM but wish I could SAH. That isn't entirely true though. I don't think I could SAH full time. I'd rather SAH and do contract work part time, but our budget doesn't allow for that right now.
I picked "I work PT - the best of both worlds" - but really, it's per-diem, so only 1-2 days a week. I SAH up until about 6 weeks ago, so it's been nice to get out just a couple days a week to work, but I still get to SAH a majority of the time

I love to be a SAHM but not in cards right now. My job pays for me to attend college and I have good health benefits. Otherwise I would quite a long time ago! My job has made it possible to be student even though its only part time for now. I am thankful but wish I could be a little different.
I chose work but I'd rather SAH, but it's not an option right now. I have a good schedule (home by 2:00 2 days a week), but I would still rather be home with my kids all day. I could settle for a PT job, but my entire income is needed at this point in time.

WM - would deff change if I could.
I posted last week about a possible PT opportunity, but the pay ended up being so little it wouldn't be worth working after daycare
