I'm due tomorrow (Monday) and my next appt with OB is on Tuesday. Guess that's close enough to EDD for my doctor and they don't seem concerned that I haven't delivered yet
My next appt is scheduled for Thursday and I'm due Friday. After that I have a possible induction scheduled for next Monday... So this probably is my last appt.

I'm due Tuesday and my last appointment is Wednesday morning. I'm not sure what will happen if baby hasn't arrived by then. I don't want to induce until 10/11/12 (9 days past my due date), so I'm wondering if they would just schedule an induction date at my appointment since that's a week and one day after my last appointment. But, I'm a FTM so I have no idea what to expect
I'm nowhere close to my EDD 4 more weeks and holding but just out of curiousityonce you hit 40 do most people schedule inductions? Does it depend on your progress at 40 weeks? And if you schedule do you go for the 42 week mark to give baby another chance to come on their own? Or do you wait to schedule until you're officially beyond EDD by a good couple days with no baby in sight? Assuming a textbook pregnancy of course, no red flags or outliers.

Every office and doctor have their own policy on induction. The OB I went to with DD said I couldn't go past 41wks. The ACOG doesn't consider a pregnancy post dates until 42wks. My MW will allow me to go to 43wks if we're both well.
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
My EDD is tomorrow (10/2/12) and I have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday (10/3) if I'm not in labor by then. Fingers are crossed, dr will only let me go til next week before she induces labor. Hoping this baby comes soon!
If the baby arrives before EDD it will be before.If the baby arrives after EDD it will be after.My practice goes week by week, I don't have appointments scheduled more than 1 week in advance. nbsp;
Mine is today for the last appointment before, but they schedule a "just in case" appointment past your EDD that would just be cancelled if you have LO. So, that appointment would be next Monday.
Last Mfm appt wed before edd the next wed. I guess thurs will be my last Ob before my edd I Would think I as 1 more. I guess we will see what she says on thurs.
My last appointment is this Thursday and then my csection is scheduled for next Monday. Typically they don't schedule you out for anything beyond your 40 weeks, although if you're still pregnant they'll squeeze you in.
I'm not due till the 23rd.... So if no baby by then, I'm guessing my regular appointment will be the 24th, the day after EDD, as I have all my appointments on Wednesday afternoons.... FX I don't make it to that appointment, however. I wouldn't mind if he made his appearance into the world sometime in week 39. But, ya just never know....

My EDD is Thursday 10/4. my last scheduled appt is tomorrow 10/2 but I'm sure I'll be in for a NST early next week. Also my dr and I will talk about scheduling an RCS at the appt tomorrow in case this LO decides not to come before 41 weeks. (since I had a c-section before my OB won't induce so it's either the baby comes on his own or I have another C.)
I have one appt scheduled for Thursday so that one is before my EDD. If I go past my EDD, I need to schedule one for next week in order to see what we are going to do. My OB only induces 7-10 days after EDD.
