I know how much we all like to brag about our going home outfits, so show them off!

DD was born in summer so I was able to just get a little cute dress, but with this one due in January I have no idea what I should put her in. Looking for a little inspiration!

Re: Show me your going home outfit
This is the NB sleeper we will take to the hospital and I'll take a 0-3 month sleeper/some similar as well so we make sure to have something that fits. We live in mid-Missouri so its going to be cold when DD is born so she will be all covered up anyway. Nothing fancy but she will be warm and comfy.
*no idea why it isn't rotated when I paste it here, sorry.

i have to buy 2 outfits! a boy and a girl....and then my mom will was the one we need and return the one we don't....the joys of being team green...
i keep seeing the cutest things in carters, but i don't know if i want a one piece thing, or many pieces....ugh i'm not sure! we better start thinking about it though.....
I don't have them in my possession yet. We've decided that the baby would come home in the outfit we came home in depending on the sex since we are team green.
Mine was a white sleeper with some pink threading and DH had a light blue sleeper with a duck on it.
I know you're all being really practical and I'm not bashing anyone's choices because I think they're all cute, but I now understand why all the nurses made such a big fuss over DD when we were bringing her home. I thought the norm was to dress them up all "frilly" for lack of a better word and that's what we did. We literally had a string of random nurses we had never met coming in our room from the time we got DD dressed until we left!
I feel like a need to dress all my future children up like I did with DD. It would be pretty noticeable in their coming home pictures if she was the only one who looked like a baby rock star!
I'm honestly not 100% positive, but I just bought this outfit this weekend, CLICKY.
I definitely know I want her comfortable, but not over the top dressed up. Casual, warm, and comfy is my plan. As of now, I'm leaning towards this outfit, but I still have a few months to decide.

Not sure what we're bringing LO home from the hospital in yet, but this is what we brought DD home in. I loved the little cow hat!
We are huge Ravens fans so we are thinking since it will be January and cold out to put them in warm comfy Ravens gear. Girly Ravens gear for her and something cool for him.
DD was born at the end of March and she came home in a cute pink frilly outfit.
This, with a pair of white tights and little tiny baby uggs is what I was thinking about up til now.
Then my mom said something about not wanting her "identity" to just be baby sister, which I totally understand because all through school I was known as Alex's little sister.
Now I'm rethinking it, but I might just change up the top

We'll probably have a long sleeve onesie under it for extra warmth. I'm a total sucker for cute hats.
We just got it last week
I love it!
just picked this all up today!!! It is all from Gymboree
Dx MTHFR (C677T & A1298C, Compound Heterozygous)

I always do something dressy as well. I thinking a special day and deserves a special outfit!! I will have to buy 2 this time so not sure yet what they will be!! You are not alone in this though!
I bought this at The Children's Place this weekend. I LOVE it, it's so simple, sweet, and newborn-ish. I bought a matching hat too.
We got a little brother outfit for DS#2 to come home in.

Same here! I suppose we'll have to pick out adorable "1st outfits" instead? Although our lil' guy will probably end up wearing a simple onesie until we are brave enough to venture outside in the chilly Canadian winter weather! Good luck with your HB LaurelBee!!
DS wore a Baby Team 2010 sweats outfit from H&M; I'm planning on getting the 2013 girl version of it for DD but it isn't out yet
This was DS
The back: ignore me please, I had a rough D&L and was such a mess!!
Same for us. All the best ladies! I am making LO a little sleep sack out of this material that came this last week. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Foxy-Foxes-Pink-Magenta-Gray-Flannel-/230844987926?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D2435049316696972384%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D230844987926%26 It will probably be one of three I make and it will be the outfits she wears most of the first week. Going easy for NB stage.
Im not 100% sure yet. I have this in the pants version as a possibility which I loved at first but now Im not so sure...
It has a tiny sheep on it. Here is what henry came home in:
tiny yellow ducks.
So I think Im probbbbbbably going to use the lambie one but if I see something else I like better Ill do that.
11/18/16 missed m/c 9w1
08/03/17 no hb 8w
this is the first outfit DH and I bought for her so I think we'll use it for her going home outfit.
I love this outfit! It's so cute
I didnt think of this... What a great idea. We dont have anything picked out yet but thanks to you I am going to be a prepared Momma!!!
So cute!
You all have some pretty cute ideas on here!
I agree with the PP about the coming home outfit being something sort of special. I still have the outfit I came home in, and I think it's really sweet. I really wish I could have made it work for one of my daughter's, but no such luck. DD #1 had a cute patriotic outfit since she was a July baby, but I have no idea what to do for a "cold weather" baby. Something cute and special but still warm. It will probably be the only "new" outfit that I buy for this baby because I'd like to have DD help me pick it out.
She's really into this baby and I want to keep her excitement up.
