Can you recommend your breast pump?

I keep looking and looking, but they are all starting to look the same to me.  I am in need of a breast pump for after this little guy is born.  I don't want the free ones my insurance covers, I would rather just pay the couple hundred dollars they are, and get one that I want.  Which has worked best for you?

    I used the Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric breast pump with DD1, and I'll be using it again for DD2. I loved it!

    Medela Pump in Style Advanced.  I bought it from Target when it was on sale and got it for $209 and a $25 gift card.

    I had the Medela Freestyle with DD.  I really did like it but it started to lose its steam after about 10 months.  I haven't used it yet obviously so I hope it holds up ok for #2!

    Ameda Purely Yours. Medela is overpriced for an open system. Ameda is a closed system and a lot cheaper. Hospitals only use one of two brands. Medela and Ameda, Medela only has 1 closed system machine and it's made only for hospitals. Ameda uses a closed system for all their machines.

    Yes The lactation consultants at most of our local hospitals recommend Ameda because it's a closed system and less expensive.  More than one consultant has said the only difference between Medela and Ameda is Medela's marketing department. 

    Lansinoh is also a closed system, inexpensive, and gets great reviews.

    I used this one too with DS. Loved it. No complaints. I'm using it again with DD.

    I have talked to 3 lactation nurses about it and they all recommended the medela breast pump. I got the backpack style one so I could take it to work. It works great! I originally bought a cheaper $70 one of amazon and it was crap.
