Constant Neck and Shoulder Pain!

I am 6 weeks and this is my first, my hubby and I are so excited! For the past few days I have had constant neck and shoulder pain that won't go away! Tylenol isn't helping that much, do you ladies have any recommendations? Help would be appreciated =)

  • Why don't you go get a massage? I love getting massages and it always helps me, or even a facial because usually they will include the neck massage in there too.

I'm all for massages but I don't think they will give you one in the 1st tri. With my first pregnancy I had that problem. I used icy hot. It helped. I also got a massage in my 2nd tri. It was amazing!

Don't they have people that specialize in it? Maybe if they specialize in it it can still only be done in second tri, maybe something to look into. I really don't know about the risks but they feel so good, I could really go for one right now!

  • I have that throughout pregnancy. My neck gets really tight and my shoulders hurt almost the whole time. Prenatal yoga helps and so does massage. My DH gives me neck massages a lot to help with it.

  • I have this too... I think it's pretty much permanent, I'm just learning to live with it.
