For medical reasons I had a planned C-Section. I was so nervous about becomming a mom and the procedure my husband was worried about me and talked me into taking the anxiety medication they can provide before the procedure. I DON'T RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE DO THAT. I barely remember anything about the procedure and can hardly remember seeing my daughter for the first time. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience... although her being healthy and safe it was beyond joyfull. So, I guess the point to my story is don't let someone talk you into something you really don't want.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.
