NBR- Halloween costume vent

They do not make any women's costumes that aren't secksy!!! I need a cop costume and they are all slutty little dresses and mini skirts!!! A few years ago that would have been great but considering I'll be holding the baby half the time that won't really work. suggestions??

Maybe look at guys costumes? When I wanted one that wasn't sluttastic I got a men's one and just doctored it.

No suggestions but I just wanted to agree. When did that happen? Even all the middle school girls in my neighborhood are always dressed as something sexy. When I was younger I don't remember it being that way.

I agree with other suggestions. Maybe get a mens costume and add your own taste to it. Or maybe make your costume?

One year I was a prisoner. The costume was long sleeves, really short, and a cut out in the chest area. I wore a white cami to cover my boobs and black leggings to cover my entire bottom half.

What makes me mad is how expensive they are for such little material! I feel stores like Target might sell more family friendly adult costumes and cheaper too. DH and I go to Goodwill and find things for costumes.

This reminded me of last year. We were costume shopping and there was a woman and her I'm guessing 12 yo daughter. The woman was I'm including this for a reason probably 5'3" and 300 lbs and wearing a really low cut shirt and short shorts. Her daughter said "I want to be a cheerleader" the mom says "you aren't pretty enough and you are too fat. Pick something else." I almost punched her. I left the store with dh before I told him because he would have flipped out !!! I can't imagine how much that woman hates herself to say something like that to her own child!!!!

Yea i hate that there is nothing appropriate for women. In college i was alice in wonderland and wore a long sleeve white v neck and two pair of dance tights under the costume. Dance tights are thicker then regular tights. It was cold walking to parties at 11pm!!!

It makes me think of that episode of HIMYM from first season with the "Slutty Pumpkin" LOLOLOL. But seriously, I sympothize. I am fluffy and they don't make even sexy costumes for anyone over a size 10, so I went to a couple of different stores to gather my costume. Oh and I hate how hard it is to find shoes for a size 10 to 11 foot.

That is so sad, it would have been so hard not to say anything.

I was a cop one year and bought the questionable costume. I wore a tank top under it to cover up the lack of boob coverage and black leggings with the skirt. I still looked questionable, but better than the girl on the package.
