completion discount fro Target

Showers are done and I have a few more items to buy (also some gift cards to use) soooo when can I get a completion discount?  Do they email me, can I go to the store and ask for it?  WHEN DO I GET TO SHOP?  LOL

    Not sure how Target works (I'm Canadian, no Target) but with BRU it depends on when your EDD is.  BRU sends you the coupon after the due date you wrote on the registry.  So a lot of people use their shower date when they make the registry so they can get the coupon before the baby comes.  You may be able to call the store or go in to get it earlier if you need.

    I don't know how Target works, but with BRU they go off of the date you listed as your "event" which was the due date for us, but I know lots of ladies use a shower date or pick an earlier date so they can make sure the coupon is there in plenty of time.  Our coupon showed up in the mail about six weeks or so before my due date, and specified that I could only use it on things listed on my registry before the "event" date, so I have up until my due date to make sure I've got everything on the list that I want to use the coupon on.  Again, that's for BRU, not Target, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    Also wanted to add I used my due date (Nov 1st) as our event date at Target. I'm guessing I never opted out to extra mail from them considering they send me a ton of awesome coupons,

    I don't get a completion discount with my registry. With my wedding registry I got one but they told me about it before I registered and gave me the card for it right away. It seems weird that they wouldn't at least tell you if you're getting one or not when you register.
