(zombie baby warning) Nightmares

Yep, it really does say "zombie baby warning" in the subject line.

I've been having lots of vivid dreams in the past week, mostly nightmares. I've been chased by gun wielding murderers, watched my friends and family get chain sawed and/or buried alive, and last night I was in the middle of a zombie apocalypse where infected people turned blue. My mom got infected and apparently all she had to do was get KU to cure her. Later, I saw a guy throw up a zombie baby on his wife which cured them both but not the baby so we had to run away. I too got infected, but I couldn't even get KU in my dream to save my own life.  

Of course, the one euphoric dream I had featured a handful of the most positive pee sticks anyone has ever seen. I tested that morning. BFN.

I think perhaps, I need a break from TTC. I'm almost certain to miss my FW in November, so maybe that's a blessing in disguise.

BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!

    Definitely weird dreams. I'm so sorry that your mind is being taken over by babies. ((hugs)) to you and good luck as you  make the decision on whether to take a break or not. I'm sorry about the BFN.

    Thanks for the good wishes and hugs ladies. You might all be right that hormones and/or the 2WW could have something to do with it. I'm having killer PMS yesterday and today so it could all be tied together. I hope the dreams go away the minute AF shows, if not before.

    Oh my goodness! (((Hugs)))  Those darn nightmares suck.  I agree with PPs though it is most likely hormones.

    *HUGS* I went through a period right after our last loss of almost the same thing. There were zombies, vampires, and other creepy characters (no chain saw murderers though!). I dreamed almost every night that everyone around me was pregnant/had newborns and I just kept miscarrying. I was also dreaming that no one thought I was "good enough" anymore and that everyone turned their back on me. The dreams eventually went away, but it was quite rough for a few weeks. Hang in there. Hopefully the nightmares stop ASAP.

    I go through phases every once in awhile where I have crazy bad dreams. I even wake myself up screaming sometimes. They're so messed up, I don't even want to repeat them, but they're pretty horrific. Since I've been TTC I also notice that I have weird baby dreams, like I'm pg and the baby is trying to claw it's way out of my stomach, and I have alot of BFP dreams. I think it's just an over active brain. I wish I had some advice of how to make them better, but I usually just cuddle up to DH or try to get up and go to the bathroom to wake up a little. If I don't I find I just slip into another weird dream.

    Thanks for the replies and hugs, everyone - and for the interpretations Funny Bunny! I had one more nightmare this weekend, but it wasn't nearly as intense. I'm surprised how many of you have had nightmares too. They must go hand in hand with both stress and hormones.
