let down question

Every now and then it takes forever for "let down" when I am pumping.  Sometimes I just give up.  Tonight I pumped for 15 minutes- nothing- and then took a 10 min. break and pumped for another 15 minutes before let down. Then I got 8 ounces. Thoughts? 

My daughter is EBF and 5 months old. This is a somewhat new occurance.

    I also look at pics and cold seems to help me.... Weird.  I would also LOVE to get eight ounces in one session and would go thirty min if that would do the trick!
