different detergent for diapers and clothes?

Another newbie question-

I have been preparing my stash for LO using charlies, however on my clothes I use 7th generation liquid and tide/wisk for my husband. Will this cause buildup in the washer and affect the diapers? I dont mind using charlies on my clothes but my husband adores his tide!

    I used Tide (powdered) on our diapers. If you just want to use it on other clothes it shouldn't affect your diapers.

    It will take time, but yes. Most newer washing machines actually have a sanitizing cycle... read your user manual for more info. If you regularly clean your washing machine, build up on diapers will not happen as frequently.
