DD Lately...

Has been uncharacteristically loving. She just spun me around (I'm in the computer chair) so that she could climb into my lap and hug me and just sit there with me. Smile She is a very energetic child who loves to move, so this never happens. She hates staying still.

She also loves holding my hand now, randomly. And the other day she ran off to play, but turned around and came back, climbed into my lap and hugged me, gave me a kiss, and then ran off. I burst into tears. Embarrassed She's never kissed me without me asking before. It was so sweet and loving of her that it brought the happy tears.

Do you think maybe young children instinctivly know when something's different with the ones they're close with (like, idk, being pregnant)? We've told her of course, but she's all of 16 months so she doesn't quite understand just yet. I know I've heard of animals being able to sense it...

Just my musings!
