MP question

havent lost mine yet--I keep looking for it but nothing!!! when did everyone lose theirs??? Not everyone loses it before birth right??? and you can still go into labor without losing it before hand??

    i asked my doctor about this and she said it's nothing to worry about. i'm always so worried that i won't be able to tell the difference between normal discharge and the MP. plus, i don't think everyone loses it before hand.

    same--- I have been having discharge in my undies but nothing that ppl discribe what the MP looks like!!! IDK I just dont want to miss something lol

    With my first, I never saw it. With this one, I lost it the first time at 25 weeks, and then again on Wednesday (they can regenerate, though it probably won't at this point because I am progressing).

    I still haven't gone into active labor, and this latent labor phase is getting old. You can go weeks a few cm dilated and no mucus plug, or you can go tonight locked up tight and plug still intact. There's no tell-tale sign besides contractions close together that you are going into labor. Even having a broken bag of waters isn't an indication that labor is imminent. GL!

    I've only seen my mucus plug once, and it was when I was just going into active labor with my 3rd.  Not sure what happened to it the other times!

    When I was pregnant with DS, I took my niece to this petting zoo thing and did a ton of walking with her 3 days before my EDD.  When I got home I had a little teeny tiny bit of my MP....so little that it didn't even really click.  I went into labor two days later.  I highly doubt I lost the entire thing.

    I didn't ever see it with my DD...nor have I seen any signs this pregnancy.

    The morning I started having contractions I started getting this brown discharge when I wiped.  But that was it, I never lost what I would describe as a MP.
