Implantation Bleeding

I am relatively new to the TTC process. My husband and I have been married for 3 years and have just began TTC. I know it takes time and it doesn't happen to everyone right away. I recently started what I think is my period a couple of days early. I am usually pretty regular. It was heavy enough to need a tampon, but stopped after only 2 days. My periods are usually at least four days. I have never had one shorter. I have read so many things. I didn't know if it was possible that implantation bleeding could be that heavy or not. Could it be implantation bleeding I am experiencing? Thanks for reading!

Doubt it.  In the rare cases of people that do have it, it is more like spotting.

Agree with pp, sounds more like a short cycle. I am pretty regular but I have had crazy cycles every so often. Check out the newbie link at the top of the page, that will give you a lot of good info on how to start tracking everything.

Implantation bleeding is pretty rare. I agree with people above. You probably just had a light period. When in doubt, pee on a stick.

Agree with the others. Not sure about you, but with me..I "thought" I had longer periods. But when I actually started charting/watching them..I was suprised how short they were, as well as how short some of my cycles can be.

I had implantation bleeding when I got pregnant with DD. It was just random bit of spotting around 8dpo. Got a positive on I think 10 dpo.

From my experience I would say you had a very short period.
