Mastitis is back

I finished my antibiotics on Wednesday and yesterday I started having body aches, chills and a really bad headache.  Last night I noticed a hard painful mass in my left boob and I have a fever of 101.  I'm so beyond frustrated right now and I just wanna feel better.  My OB is out of town for 2wks so I'm gonna call the office at 9 and hope that the Dr covering can just prescribe me a different antibiotic instead of sending me back to the ER.

IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    I'm sorry.  How long were you on them?  Sounds like they either need to make it longer or prescribe a stronger one.  Hope the on call doc is helpful.  Hang in there and feel better.

    So sorry you are dealing with mastitis.  It freaking hurts and is maddening!  Hope it clears up quickly.

    Oh no, that really sucks! I hope the Dr can get you a different antibiotic. I had the same thing happen with DD, and you have my sympathy.

    Thank you girls.  The covering OB had me come into his office and gave me an Rx for a different antibiotic.  Hopefully it works this time because I'm really tired of feeling this crappy.  It makes it really hard to take care of Ben on my own during the day.
