Gift for my mom (soon to be Grandma)?

Did anyone give their mom a gift when they announced they are pregnant? I am giving my grandma a double picture frame with a photo of me and my hubby and our first sonogram. Should I get my mom something also? Not really wanting to do the same thing, but something would be nice, right?! (PS I already gave her an original of the sonogram from the strip).

    I gave my mom a phone call "hey I know we were suppose to come up. We won't make it. I am puking and passing out. I am on the way to the ER to get fluids and to check on your first grandchild."  she also go a granddaughter at the end of my pg.

    I wasn't sure if giving mom a gift was typical. From these replies, it doesn't sound like it.

    um... nope... i got told "Well that ruins YOUR (life) plans, doesnt it?"  by my mother... so no... no gift.

    I told my mom that I found something cool online that's coming out around her birthday and linked her to my sonogram pic - no physical gift.
