  IMO there's two different pronounciations. Ana is AH-na to me, while Anna is Ann-a.

  If you want the Ana pronounciation, spell it Anabelle. For Anna, I like Annabelle.

  I agree that I'd pronounce Anabel and Annabel differently. So it depends on what you want.
