My 27 weeker at 9 months
My sweet little girl had her 9 month well check on Tuesday and got rave reviews from her pedi.
A little background, she was born at 27w, 6d after I spent 8 weeks on hospital bedrest for IC. She was 2 lb, 10 oz and 13 inches long at birth. She spent 73 days in the NICU and in the end, only the bradying kept her from coming home. But, she went through ALL the normal preemie stuff- feeding issues, oxygen, a's and b's that we all have experienced.
Now, she's 17 lb, 15 oz (45% for her actual age) and 28 inches (60% for her actual age). She's rolling, scooting, laughing, and eating- all the things I hoped for, during those long days and nights in the NICU. I was always inspired by the pictures and posts from moms of former preemies, so I hope helps someone else.
