Both my husband and I are tall (I'm 5'9 and he is 6'4). We are looking for a convertible, rear-facing car seat for our one year old that will fit in our Sorento without the passenger having to have his/her knees crammed against the dash.
We plan to test some out in the store, but was curious if there were any suggestions to help us narrow our search?
Re: Rear facing convertible seat for a Kia Sorento (or small crossover)?
I have a Sorento and the Britax Advocate fits well. Even when my husband drives and has the seat moved back, he has enough room.
We have a Crown Victoria so I don't know how they fit comparatively but we have a Diono R100 with the angle adjuster for our 1 year old. And it makes it fit with the seat all the way back. I called Diono and verified that they do the crash testing with the angle adjuster as well and it doesn't compromise the safety. If you go to wayfair.com or justkidsstore.com they have the seat for less than $200 plus if you can find an online code it's even cheaper!!
