I'm just beyond words. My doctor has been horrible from the moment I walked in to confirm my pregnancy. We had a blood draw after blood draw and three ultrasounds. I was told my baby had a heartbeat of 50 one week and nothing the next and off I went to a D&C. It's been 16 weeks and I still do not have my period even though we tried Provera. Since my doctor was just not concerned I have decided to move on to another practice. So today I went to pick up my records so I can bring them to the new office next week. I found out I was pregnant with TWINS. One was a possible BO but there were two gestational sacks. NOT ONCE did they mention this to me. How could they. I'm angry, and sad and hurt and back to what ifs.

Re: 3 months after d&c I find out that it was twins...
I'm so sorry! There are no words...
Try not to do the what-ifs. Hang in there!
As with a PP, I too am glad you are chaging practices. I'm so sorry for your loss and that you had to find out by getting your records and not from anybody at the office. What record was it that stated twins -- ultrasound report or d&c report or both?
I would say that it would be worthy to make a phone call to a supervisor or hr department and make a formal complaint about this.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that you are moving on to another practice. I would request an ultrasound or an SHG to ensure that you don't have any left over products of conception. It happened to me after my 4th loss which could have prevented future pregnancies.
I know you're in North Jersey but I would recommend NJ reproductive science center RE - Dr. Jessica Mann if you wanted to check her out. She's fantastic- very open and honest.

you're so sweet! Thank you!
First I am so sorry for the loss of your twins.
Second, I am so glad that you followed your gut and made the switch to a new doc. Any practitioner who has such poor judgment as to not share that type of information with you is just a nightmare waiitng to happen.
Sending T&P your way and wishing you good luck with your new doc. ((hugs))
