baby bump?

Ok, so this might be a dumb question but i dont know! What is the difference beteween a baby bump and just gas & bloat? loll! My waist has definitely thickend and i definitely have a little belly but i cant tell whether my bump is starting to show or if im just bloated?! This is my first so i dont know what to expect!

The biggest difference is that a bloated belly will change sizes throughout the day. A true baby bump is about the same size from the time you wake up of a morning until you fall asleep at night. Like right now I know I am bloated because my stomach is much bigger of an evening then what it is when I wake up.

I think that depends on the body type. Mine was firm but probably not until like 16 weeks or so, but I have a little more chub around the mid section.
