Trying for a happy, baby related topic :)

Now that our babies are getting a little older, what are their personalities like? More like you, your husband, or completely different? I know this stuff could change since they're still so little, but it's still fun!

So far, I think LO is more quiet and reserved. He has his happy, talkative times, but seems more content to hang out, look around, and check everything out.

I think he's pretty independent, too. He'd rather be on his own on the floor with room to move than be held all the time.

He seems very observant and tends to check people out for a while before giving them smiles and sounds.

I think he's more like me personality wise than my husband, which is nice since he doesn't look anything like me at all!

Also, (like everyone's baby, I'm sure) I'm pretty sure he's a genius. :)

    My 2 year old is EXACTLY like my husband through and through.  Looks just like him except for her hair color and eyebrow shape and has everything about his personality to a T, complete with stubbornness, independence, creativity, sense of humor, etc. 

    The baby however, is a complete mini-me.  She looks more like me and is totally chill and laid back like I am. I can't wait to see who she becomes over the next few years :)

    To be honest I have no idea who she is like yet. She is extremely high maintenance and outgoing, but I feel like that will change the older she gets. I'll have to wait and see!

    Funny, I was just thinking about this yesterday...My LO looks exactly like my DH according to everyone, and also by me. He has certain behaviors that my DH does, like shakes his fist in his sleep, and smiles like dh. However, his personality appears to be more like me. My LO appears to have a sense of humor already. He is funny. He is also a morning person and goes to bed pretty early, much more like me than DH. (although, I'm the one putting him to bed so that might just be why his schedule is that way). 

    Anyway, he loves story time and talking and listening, so much more like me!

    So far he's pretty laid back and generally happy. He only cries when he really needs something and is very free with the smiles and giggles. He likes to stay close to mom and dad though...boy loves his snuggles and being held and hates sitting his bouncer or swing unless one of us is right there with him, talking to him. He babbles a lot at home but when we go to our playgroup at the library [20 babies, most of them old enough to walk or crawl, so it's super noisy] he's pretty quiet and prefers to just watch. We've sat next to the same little boy who is about his age twice though, and this week DS was looking at him and smiling, so I think he just needs time to get used to new situations.

    DD looks more like me, but she can make faces that look EXACTLY like DH's expresssions, it's kind of freaky sometimes.

    As far as personality, she's very calm & observant. Really laid back. That doesn't describe DH or I at all, so I'm not sure where that comes from!

    Cute topic!

    DD is a pretty good blend of both of us as far as looks are concerned. She inherited dh's left cheek dimple which is so adorable!

    As far as personalities- (and im certainly bias) dd is such a cool baby. She is a cuddler but also fine with some independent time too. She really only cries when she is really hungry and she seems to love people.

    She is a smile-a-holic and I really hope she stays that way!

    Everyone says DS looks just like me. I think it's just that he has my dark hair and dark eyes. But I'm convinced I see his hair coming in lighter like DH's. He is very lean like DH, not a chubby, chunky baby at all.

    Personality wise, he is DH exactly. He is very serious, has his brow furrowed all the time, doesn't give out smiles freely, and is very vocal about his preferences. He's also very nosy and hates napping, which MIL said is exactly like DH as a baby.
