And how big are they weight and length?

DS is 21in, in the high 8lb range. The NB stuff fits lengthwise and is pretty snug across the chest and belly. I have a whole bunch of NB stuff thinking I make small babies...guess not. Wondering if it's time to throw in towel, give up on all the precious NB outfits he never got a chance to wear.

DS was born 8 lb 7 oz. NB was still a little big. As of yesterday he was 9 lbs and some NB outfits are starting to be snug.

DD was born 6lb 3oz so nb fit well and this week she's finally stating to look like she's fitting into her 0-3 stuff.

We are somewhere between nb and 0to3 months. His first day, he barely could wear nb 9.5lbs 21in. Then he dropped to 9lbs so most of his nb stuff is still working. I don't expect to get more than a week more out of those clothes though, once he's back to his birth weight.

She is wearing 0-3 months and some 3 month clothing. There are a few newborn clothing items that she can fit into. V was born at 9# 8 oz and 20 3/4 in. As of Monday she was 10# 4 oz and 21 3/4 in long.

Pretty much the same as pp. DD was 9lbs 6oz at birth but went down to 8 6 and NB stuff fits ok now. But she is quickly getting back to birth weight and some of the NB stuff is getting a little small. Her 03 stuff is still a little big and she swims in most of it so we might have to deal with some lose clothes for a couple of weeks.

E was born at 8lbs5oz but dropped to around 7lbs7oz before gaining back up to birth weight. NB clothes fit okay but certain onesies are a stretch, especially over a fluffy butt. I'd imagine we have about another 2 or so weeks before 03 time, assuming he keeps eating and plumping up.

My guy is a rapid weight gainer, born at 8 lbs 7 oz 3.5 weeks ago, now up to about 11 lbs. We've started putting away the nb clothes, but he's been fitting into most 0 to 3 mo for awhile. Mostly I'm annoyed because every single brand is different in their sizing, and even within a brand different styles are sized differently, even when they say 0 to 3 mo. Oh, and yesterday he fit into a 3 to 6 mo onesie. Wonderful.

ETA: at his 2 week checkup he had grown from 20 in at birth to 21 in. Since his clothes have gotten too short, I assume he's grown in length, too

LO was down to 5 lbs. 11 ozs. when we brought her home from the hospital. She's 19". I don't have a lot of nb size clothes so I bought some cheap preemie size onesies and she outgrew them in a week. She's back over 6 lbs. now. NB is a good fit. She swims in 0 to 3 month size clothes.

I was the complete opposite. DS was born at 38 wks weighing 9.1 so I had no small stuff. DD was only 7.13 so we had to buy small stuff. Almoat two wks ago she was 8.6 and her 0-3 and carters 3 m still fit. I just moved her up to size 1 diapers yesterday.

DD was 7.6 and 20 inches at birth. She's 8.13 as of yesterday and 21 inches. She's 3 weeks and still in newborn clothes and diapers, though the rate she's growing not much longer!

NB. He was 7lb 11oz and 19 1/4 inches at birth. Lost about 12 oz and is now back up to 7 lb even. We had to go out and buy more NB stuff.

M is 7lbs 13oz, 21.5 inches. NB onesies are a little short but still fit... but all of his cute sleepers don't give him the chance to stretch his legs. We just started adding some 0-3mo clothes into his wardrobe. The onesies fit but the sleepers are too big... sigh.

DS was born at 6lbs... and after losing some initial weight and now gaining back (he's now at 6lbs 4oz!) he is still only fitting into really tiny NB clothes and preemie sizes... If he keeps eating the way he has this week though, he'll soon be filling out all the cute NB clothes we have for him

My son was born 8 lbs 9 oz and 21.5 inches long. In the operating room (we had an emergency c-section) they tried to put newborn diapers on him but they didn't fit. So he has been in 1's since birth. However, he has been in newborn clothes since birth (which I thought was kinda strange). He is 3 weeks 2 days old and I think we will be retiring the newborn clothes soon. We have already retired the newborn gerber sleepers, as they don't fit lengthwise anymore. He seems to be at the max length but still has a bunch of room around the waist, so I am afraid to see what the 0-3's look like!

Last appt he was 7lbs 9oz....I think he's probably closer to 8 now....he's about 21.5 inches. The newborn stuff is starting to get to small for him length wise....the poor little guy is so long and skinny, that the pants we have for him are super baggy and high water....sigh....we'll be packing up the newborn stuff in the next week or so I think.

DD is now 6lb, 13 oz, and nearly 21 inches long. Nb fits her best when she's wearing sposies, but 0-3 fits better lengthwise when she wears cloth. At least she's finally out of the premie clothes!

DS was 8 lbs at his last appointment about 2 weeks ago and 21 inches. We still put some newborn clothes on him but they are getting pretty snug so he's wearing a lot of 0-3 months.

DD was 6 lbs 9 oz, 19 in, as of Tuesday. She is 10 days old today & is in NB. She'll be in it for quite a while since it's still big on her.
