clomid , period an pcos

ok so i have pcos, i did one 100mg dose before, they upped me to 150 for this cycle, 

monday i got dark spotting,

tuesday heavier dark spotting,

wednesday one soaked tampon really dark an then spotting

thurdsday one soaked then spot

today spoting

IT is just so different from normal

that i wonder if i should even call it a period, an WHAT DO YOU COUNT AS DAY ONE, i mean tuesday was heavier , SO TUESDAY OR MONDAY ?

The first round they brought me in on day 20 did a blood test came back negative, so i dont think im pregnant

but with this period so light an spotty do i count it , do i count day one as tuesday

  • My advice is to call your nurse and ask what s/he thinks.  Usually they say the first day of dark red flow that requires a pad/tampon is CD1, but with the stopping and starting, I'd be confused, too.  Can't hurt to call.  GL!!

    This. With the starting and stopping it is odd. I am always told full flow before 5pm is CD1. If I get it at 5:30pm the next day is CD1.

  • I agree with the previous poster, you definitely need to ask your doctor what they consider "day one." But just FYI, when I was on Clomid, it DEFINITELY affected my periods. They were weird, just weird. Spottier, more drawn out, and with a different type of "flow" than normal.
