  Is that her in your profile pic?  B/c holy cow, she looks like my sister did when she was a baby!  Beautiful!

  To figure out how much BF babies eat, just take 25oz and divide by the number of feedings in a 24 hour day.  25oz is the average that babies eat (drops to 20oz by 1yr).  Say she's eating 8x per day, that's ~3oz per feeding.  If she's down to 6x per day, that's 4oz per feeding.  Then go from there.

  Does she take a bottle well?  Some moms choose to do 2oz bottles to start, since daycares have stricter policies on when to throw away BM.  If she is ok with a bottle then you don't really have to worry about that.

  My LO took 3oz bottles, then a few weeks later we moved to 3.5oz.  Then after another month or so, up to 4oz.  She stayed at 4oz bottles until 10mo, when she boycotted bottles altogether (getting teeth then).  Then from 12-14mo she took 3oz bottles.  Now she's off bottles as of last week, and takes BM in a sippy.  I send 6oz per day.  She still nurses 3x at home.  That's probably too much info. :-)

  At 15 weeks I think my guy was taking about 3 oz. in a bottle.  (He'll be a year on Tuesday and still only takes 4oz in a strawcup)  He was also eating every 2 hours, so if it were me, I'd send in 3 three-oz bottles to daycare, with the third bottle being a "just in case" bottle, and it would be fresh milk, not frozen, so it could be used the next day if it didn't get used.

  At 15 weeks my DD was (and still is) taking 2.5 to 3 oz per bottle for the two bottles she takes at daycare.  She eats about every 2.5 hours.
