For mobile users: What's the first thing you did with LO when you got home?
Now my due date has passed so I'm counting down till my induction date. I'm getting so excited for her to come and can't wait to bring her home and start our lives together. I'm curious what all the ladies who are already mommies did when you got home with LO after you left the hospital? Anyone do anything fun or did you just take a nap? Try to adjust older sibs or pets to LO? Please share!
Re: What's the first thing you did with LO when you got home?
Got my spot in bed all set up. Started to nurse her and my Mom laughed (a sweet, doting laugh) as she wiggled around and attempted to latch (off and on... ie. PAIN!) and I started bawling and told her to get out, to which she didn't as she didn't think I was serious, and I made it clear that I was serious and then I cried more because I felt really bad for being rude, on top of the pain, on top of goodness knows what else!
Coming home was stressful and I hadn't eaten in like... many many hours and I was a shaky, anxious, uncomfortable mess. But I was SOOOOOOO happy to be home.

She met the neighbors, not planned but they were all out in the cul-d-sac when we pulled in. Then we put her down for a nap in her room.
My MIL managed to stress the sh!t out of me the moment I walked in the door, so emotional me went to bed, fed the baby and cried like a little girl. It was awesome.
Day 2 at home was much better.
