We took her paci away almost a week ago and for the most part she's done OK....but the last 2 nights she starts crying 5 mins after she's down and I have to go back up and rub her back until she falls asleep.
Anyone else have a similar regression? We're always consistent with bedtime routine, we haven't caved and given her the paci once, she's got several different nightlight type things in her room....
Just not sure if at this age, the same sleep training approach we have used in the past (CIO) is the best way to go, or if there's something else I should be doing/trying?
Oh and we converted her crib to a toddler bed but she doesn't ever get out...she just kneels in her bed and cries for us.
Re: Sleep regression after taking the paci away - re-sleep train?
We use the Ferber Method whenever there is a sleep regression. Usually after he is sick and sleeps in our bed for like a week, we have to start with the sleep training. It usually only takes one night or two though.
