Craving sweets while BFing?

Is anyone else craving sweets like crazy?  The same thing happened to me after DS2 was born for the first couple of months, but I feel like it's even more out of control now.  I want cookies and brownies and ice cream ALL the time.  I have zero willpower against it.  Does it have to do with BFing?

    I think the sweets has more to do with sleep deprivation and your body wanting the sugar rush.

    Yes!  It feels like I need to have a "dessert" after each meal.  I try really hard to satisfy this craving with fresh fruit, greek yogurt w/granola, or strawberry popsicles.  But sometimes a cookie is the only thing that will work.  I don't remember the craving being this intense with either DD or DS1...  

    Glad to see it's not just me though!

    Beer. I crave beer. As for sweets I want them all the time regardless so who knows if it's bf related?!

    Yes!! It is so bad! I was actually just contemplating when I would hit up the chocolate peanut butter ice cream in the fridge...

    I had a major sweet tooth while pregnant (which I don't normally have) and thought it would go back to normal after, but yeah I want sweets all the time still!  I thought it was just me.  I did not know this was a "thing" while BF, lol..

    ...I live off of cookies right now. Seriously. Gone through 2 family size boxes of Chops Ahoy in the past week. Wish I was kidding.

    Hmmm it would be nice to blame my sweets cravings on BFing...unfortunately sweet things are my usual weakness, but it was worse during pregnancy and now I definitely can't refuse either despite my best efforts to lose the last 10 lbs.

    I've always had a sweet tooth, but this is getting out of control. Why oh why does it have to be pumpkin pie blizzard season?! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
