NBR: the term wench
Ok, this is more out of curiosity, but when did wench start getting used negatively? I didn't hear it used as such until I was an adult. It seems people use it when they want to say a woman is being b_tch without calling her as such.
Obviously, my views of the term are skewed since I am a member of the International Wenches Guild, and for us, it stands for only positive things. Hell, my blog is titled Living Wench.
What is your opinon on it?
