I tried posting this one last week but I kept getting a bump error message, so I will try again. I hate those pacifiers attached to toys, wubba nubs? They are so trashy to me. I also dislike when people try to put newborns or infants that can't sit up in umbrella strollers. I have an old colleague on FB that has put pictures of her daughter with that stupid pacifier toy thing and recently a picture of her all slouched over in an umbrella stroller. Her DD is 6 weeks old!

I like my male OB. Will never have a female OB in the future. I prefer female nurses and male doctors. I just do. I don't think the men judge as much as the women. My female OB is leaving the practice tomorrow. So happy she won't be delivering LO!

I concur, I like male ob's better then females, I think they are more gentle and sympathetic .

definitely not unpopular (to me). cannot wait.
that said, i have a 50/50 chance of this being unpopular.....i have a major crush on Jon Stewart. Like giggly high school girl, "hes so smart! he's so funny! he's so cool!" kind of crush.

Yeah, I have a huge crush on Jon Stewart, too. So much so that I felt like I had to confess it to MH recently. He got it. haha

My UO: I don't even want to know the status of my cervix. I haven't had a check at all so far and thought I might do one this morning at my appointment, but after my mw said it didn't really matter to her, I opted not to do it. We'll do a membrane sweep on Tuesday if baby hasn't come by then, but only one day past due, I'm ok with giving my body a bit more time to figure it all out on its own!

I think that we've all gone soft after having our babies. lol... UO and FFFC have been awfully dull lately. Probably not a UO, but it's all I've got.

If you are accepting free childcare from a family member, dont biitch about them not following your every wish. I'm not looking forward to these posts when people start going back to work.

I agree. I used to only want to deal with females but there's one male doctor in my practice that was really caring when I would see him. He ended up delivering and was really great and encouraging. He stayed there the whole last hour of my two hours of pushing.

I guess this could probably be unpopular, since I haven't hit my due date yet, but I want this baby OUT. I don't care that due dates are just an estimate and first babies are usually late. I'm tired of hearing that he'll come when he's ready. His never ending gymnastics are painful. And I feel like my uterus has no effing clue what it is doing.

UGH burned micro popcorn is THE WORST. I burned a bag in a 7-11 in Bangkok and I felt so bad. The whole store smelled awful. (I'd brought the bag in, too b/c I didn't have a microwave.)

Agreed that UO and such are pretty boring these days. I think I've got a good FFFC for tomorrow though... saving it up

My UO is that I hate baby talk and can't stand when people talk nonsense to my child. I want to scream at people to just talk to him not make stupid noises at him. Also included in this is people that make clicking noises at him like he's a dog. This totally drives me BSC!!!

meh. Is that really an UO? I mean, I DO BF and I still think it sounds miserable, especially with how it's talked about on here.
I guess that brings an upop op of mine- I don't enjoy BF'ing. I'll do it, because well it's there, and free. But I don't think it necessarily gives Lo and I a closer bond, or any of that stuff.  

well, you have to admit it was the best one so far. Well other than stinky, burnt popcorn. That shix is nasty.
