Ok so I'm getting frustrated that D has been going on a solid food stike for a couple weeks now. Every meals ends with him screaming & crying. I may have a picky eater on my hands. He'll eat cereal like cheerios, fruit loops, apple jacks all day long...but has rejected things like ravioli, turkey, chicken/nuggets, and all veggies except mashed potatoes. Even though he'll eat mashed potatoes he'll only take a couple bites. I am running out of ideas! Anyone have any suggestions? Any foods your LO's love?

Re: Solid food strike?
Have you tried any of the purees with the food chunks in it (stage 3)? He may just be having issues adjusting to textures.
Cheese, yogurt, meatballs, meatloaf, roasted potatoes, mac and cheese. She loves fruit and actually loves spinach when made into omelete, quesadilla or mixed with other things. She won't eat plan veggies (needs some parmesan, butter or such).
I do find, anecdotally, that she eats better (more, less fuss) when we are all eating together rather than her eating by herself. I always eat with her but sometimes dinner gets rushed.
