I have glasses to prevent my eyes from hurting while on the computer. I used them when I was working but never used them at home. But today I was reading something on the computer and my eyes were bothering me so I put the glasses on.
I forgot I had them on and went to check on DS, who was in his crib. He looked up at me and freaked out. His eyes got all wide and his little bottom lip started quivering! He started crying and I scooped him up.
I realized it must be the glasses so I took them off. I think he didn't recognize me!
Re: Freaked out my baby!
Poor thing... But I just love seeing DS bottom lip quiver & him stick it out right before he cries...I think its the most cutest thing he does...after that I of course make him happy again!!!
I have the same problem, except I've been wearing my glasses (I'm near-sighted, can't see clearly without vision correction) all the time since DD was born and not bothered with my contacts. I think it takes a minute for her to recognize me without them!
And as PP said, the super-pout right before a big cry is so cute! And then they're crying and you feel bad. lol
Oh the bottom lip kills me!! I am wrapped around this little boy's finger.
me too, I am a sucker!
I love it too!
I also wear glasses all the time, as does DH. Sometimes I wonder if he's going to think that glasses are just a part of faces. He giggles at me when I get out of the shower with the towel on my head.
And yes, the super pout is one of the cutest things ever.
