Anyone thinking they are going to be an October Momma?
My due date is November 2nd so there has always been a possibility that I could have an October baby, but now I'm almost certain. I was examined by my doc last week and her direct quote to me was "Wow, baby's head is in position and super low" which indicates that we could have our little pumpkin in the next few weeks! Which is fine by me 
Everyone at work is prediciting for some reason that I'll give birth around October 20th.
Anyone else have a hunch they'll be early too?

We are due Nov 6, but have gestational diabetes...so this little girl cold definitely be a Halloween baby!! I keep telling myself to be ready for her by Oct 22...we still have sooooo much to do.
Same thing here...feeling like my little guy could come in October since I'm on bed rest for PTL & dilation/effacement. But, like you said, who knows...

I was due on Nov 2nd too! I definitely thought Oct was very possible. I was the 1st to pop on our Nov board and had no idea I'd deliver my baby girl at 32 weeks on Sep 12th. I woke up in the middle of the night when my water broke unexpectedly and went into preterm labor. I thought I'd be early, but not as early as September. My baby is 2 weeks old & in the NICU, but doing sooo incredibly well. Thank God she doesn't have health problems, doesn't need to be in an incubator, and is learning to eat from bottle. They say she can come home in 1-2 weeks. I can't wait!
In the mean time, my husband & I are busy getting our house ready for when she comes home. We had nothing ready since she was 2 months early. This weekend, we're going to paint the nursery, build the crib, wash all her clothes, blankets, bedding, towels etc, and clean up our house for when she comes home soon. We even had to change the date of my baby shower since she arrived 2 weeks before my shower date.
My main advice to you all is to BE PREPARED!!! Your baby can be early and can come at anytime. You just never know...
Are we the same person? I'm 35 weeks, 2cm dilated and the baby's head is also sitting low. EDD is 11/2. As a FTM I assumed I would go late so I was surprised to hear I may go early! Are you dilated at all?
I don't have a reason to think I'll go in October and DS ws 9 days late (DD was early, but that was induction and doesn't count).
But somehow I feel it will happen in October. DH's birthday is Oct 24. DS is Oct 26. SS is Nov 3. I'm due Nov 8.
I'm due Nov6 but am on bedrest and progesterone until Oct9 because of a shortened cervix , PTL at 27 weeks, and 1 cm dilated. So I'm thinking it can happen soon after Oct9. I really want a November baby because no one else I know has a Nov birthday. But I Am so sore and uncomfortable that it wouldn't upset me to be an October mom as long as my baby is healthy. However I pray that my baby isn't born on Halloween. I want my baby's birthday just to be about him or her.
My c-section is scheduled for November 2nd...39 weeks. My first came at 38 weeks, so I am DEFINITELY going to be prepared for an early arrival!
I told DH I wanted nursery & everything ready to go by mid-October so we're not scrambling. He's upstairs prepping to paint as I speak.
For some reason in my head, I feel like Baby Sister (why, no, we can't decide on a name yet!) will arrive on October 26th...

Our EDD is Nov 2nd as well, but DD came early & fast... *IF* I make it to 39 weeks, we'll induce so I can be in an 'controlled environment'

I'm due on Nov. 7, but due to complications this summer I will be induced on Nov. 1st at the latest-- judging from what my doctor has been saying he will be here in October. Originally I was told we were shooting for anything past 30 weeks and he is still cooking but if I go into labor after 36 weeks they wont stop it. I'm excited but freaked out at the same time that he could be here in less than 2 weeks at the earliest--praying he stays in until the end of the month though.
