Trigger shot - side effects?

Can anyone tell me about their side effects from Ovidrel (250)?  I was on 2.5mg of Femara and I triggered on Monday evening with one mature 22mm follicle (two additional immature follicles, both at 11mm). 

Ovulation was incredibly painful and nauseating on Wednesday morning.  For the past 24 hours I have been very bloated, and my ovaries are killing me.  They feel like they're going to explode every time I take a step.  Is this normal?  Of course I'm worried about OHSS but I didn't think it was common at all on oral meds.  I'm drinking powerade and lots of water now.

Anyone else have pain and bloating following ovulation?  I think I'll call my doc this afternoon if things don't get better.

    I've had the same symptoms. They get worse the more mature follicles I have. It is so miserable and uncomfortable! For me, it usually goes away in a couple of days. :
    TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13

    Okay, I am glad I am not the only one!  Well, I'm not glad you have to deal with this, too, but it's good to know it's not abnormal.  My stomach is so bloated and uncomfortable!  I know this is nothing compared to the side effects from some other drugs, I was just surprised by it.

    Crossing my fingers it goes away soon!

    I have also had the same thing.  I could feel my ovaries for days after the shot and kept wondering if I even ovulated or not simply because of the pain.  Hope it goes away soon.
    DD born 1/28/99 Second BFP 7/23/11 due 4/1/2012 miscarriage 9/2/2011 DNC 9/4/2011 BFP 2/3/2012 due 10/19/2012 mmc discovered 3/30/2012- d&c 4/3/2012 loss was around 9 weeks. Going through rpl testing. Dr. Suspects some type of blood clothing disorder. Current dx- endometrosis stage II and possible PCOS.

    I have had the shot 4 times but we use it as a booster after ovulation, so I never experienced any pain. I hope it goes away soon!

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12

    I have been having thigh pain, too, on the side that had the mature follicle!  That is so bizarre.  I thought I was crazy.  :)  Guess not!
