Three Things Thursday

1. Our a/s is tomorrow - I hope everything is developing properly and crazy to think that in less than 24 hours I'll know whether I'm having a son or a daughter.
2. DH and I got to have lunch together today. Sometimes, when it works out with our schedules, we can meet for lunch but it happens infrequently enough that I consider it a special treat.
3. Once we find out the gender on Fri, we will order nursery furniture this weekend. We are getting a crib, changing table and glider from Buy Buy Baby - not a set, but all cherry wood.

Re: Three Things Thursday
1. I am so excited to get my hair done tonight so that the 3 gray hairs that have taken up residence on my front hairline will now go away and I'll look/feel normal again.
2. My cousin's wedding is this weekend and we are taking a mini-road trip of 3 1/2 hours to go to it. I will be going to get a dress in the morning because the one I purchased for my friend's wedding when I was pregnant with DD is too big...and the one I purchased two weeks ago makes me feel like I'm wearing a mumu. I want to look extra cute since my cousin, who is a week ahead of me in pregnancy, doesn't look her best this time around...there's always been a bit of a rivalry between us in her eyes, so I want to look fabulous. Oh, we are leaving at noon tomorrow, so wish me luck. I'm gong to need it.
3. I'm looking forward to a weekend of adults only time - DD is staying home with ILs. I need to be able to sleep past 6 am on the weekends - I'm exhausted!
1. I just have to get though work tonight, then I have a 3 day weekend!
2. My DH has a 3 day weekend this weekend too.
3. My a/s is on Monday! It is almost here!
1. My DH started working nights last night. I wasn't looking forward to staying by myself, but I actually slept fairly well.
2. Our a/s is next Tuesday which is also our two year anniversary. We can't wait! I just pray the baby cooperates.
3. I hate doing kegels. I just absolutely hate it and I'm sure I'm going to pee my pants all the time because of it.
1. My lunch to appease my craving was an epic fail and now I'm sad.
2. Harrassing my DH on the Dad's board has made me giggle most of the day but I think has royally irritated him.
3. I do not feel like doing anything from now until my a/s which isn't for another week.
and a bonus #4- DS's 2nd birthday party stuff I ordered showed up today and I can't wait to get home and look through it like it's a present for me!
1. My a/s is October 8 and the closer it gets, the further away it feels!! I cannot wait to find out if this is a boy or a girl. The thought of a girl petrified me and I was scared that I wouldn't know how to be a good mom to a girl, but I think I've finally calmed myself down and am now absolutely ecstatic for either way.
2. I also have a cousin's wedding this weekend. I have to choose between the dress that I love that I wore to my grandfather's funeral a few weeks ago and a maternity dress that I borrowed that looks great, but isn't 100% my style. Either way, I'm excited to have some fun with family.
3. More of a confession than anything - I haven't been feeling 100% involved in this pregnancy. Meaning that I never had many symptoms and I haven't felt any movement yet (unless what I think is gas is actually baby), so I just don't really FEEL pregnant. I feel like I'm going through the motions, but the sheer excitement has faded and I feel super guilty that I'm not over the moon anymore. I'm hoping that some obvious kicks start up soon to get me back on track and/or that the a/s gets me there.
1. Every since we found out yesterday that it's a boy...I cannot focus on anything else but finding cute little boy outfits! I have barely worked today!!!
2. Hubby and I are officially checking out the hospital this weekend and starting some birthing classes. I am excited!!
3. I cannot wait to just relax this weekend and take my dog to the dog park. We traveled last weekend for a wedding so staying low key is totally what my weekend will consist of!!

1. I have been feeling especially grateful this week for my SO. He is incredably supportive and althought LO was a "surprise" he is exceptionally involved and excited with me. He is also being really suportive of my nesting urges in his house that I just moved into.
2. I feel so terrible for the person whose lunch was disappointing. The other night I was craving onion soup in a breadbowl from panera. I got there, ordered and then while waiting they told me they had run out of breadbowls. I actually teared up! Then I was so upset and overwhelmed when trying to decide on something different to eat. It was AWFUL!
3. I'm useless today at work. I've been stalking the messageboards most of the day and ordered some maternity clothes online.
2. I really wish that my weekend childcare gig was consistant so I could just do that and not get a "real" job before the baby comes. If I could rely on 16 to 20hrs every weekend that would be fine by me.
3. Being pregnant really makes me want to see if I can overcome the fact that sewing machines hate me enough to make my own bedding and clothes for LO!
1. I am cranky today for no apparent reason.
2. Our A/S is on Monday and I am scared out of my mind. Some test results showed we might have placenta complications and the A/S should be able to identify them. it's too much and Monday seems so far and too close.
3. how am i supposed to get any work done when all I can think about is monday?
1. Three day weekend starts in 45 minutes!
2. Met my mom for lunch and she bought me the cutest lightweight snowsuit and sweater jumper from Baby Gap
3. Found a 1 year old, double Chariot, with bike, stroller and baby sling accessories for sale for $600. This would generally cost around $1300.. Feels like I got the baby deal of the century. We couldnt resist since last night all we did was research stroller options. This now allows us time and flexibility with a regular stroller type, if we find we need it... SO PUMPED!
4. Cause its that good of a day - my friend bought me a baby swing!
