NT scan results were great!

I know for our age bracket, NT scans and any genetic counseling can be nerve wracking. So, I wanted to pass along some encouragement and hope for those still waiting and fretting. I'm 39, DH is 41- so we really didn't know what to expect and were trying to keep ourselves balanced. We realized we prob wouldn't get amazing results and just hoped we didn't get terrible results.

Well, my risks came back in the range of a 20 year old! The U/S tech and the doc said everything, from a developmental standpoint, looked normal and right on track. We tried to get a look to guess at the sex, but the chord kept getting in the way. :) So, the results, all in all, were better than we had dared hope for! I hope you all have the same experience! GL and FX for those next in line!

    That is fantastic!! I would love to get the results of a 35 year old, much less a 20 year old! I know exactly what you are saying about bracing yourself and hoping the numbers don't come out too badly because they are not that great for us to start with. How wonderful that you got such a great result!! I go for my scan tomorrow and hope I do half as well as you!
