Well I had my first real ultrasound today, at 9w2d, and...we saw a baby! Heart beating and measuring 9 weeks. I am so relieved (so was my doctor, who I think was a little worried after the ultrasound last time when she thought I was measuring a little small). At least now I can enjoy the fact that my nausea has lessened, and not worry that it means something has gone wrong. Whew. This is a big relief. I haven't even told my parents about the pregnancy yet, but I think I will now.
Oh and DH said he was nervous before the ultrasound, then relieved, then nervous again - because now it's real! lol.
Re: Ultrasound!
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
That is AWESOME news! Huzzah! Go baby Technigirl!
(Confession: I POAS this morning just to see if the line had gotten darker and was super-relieved when it was in fact, darker. I don't know if I'll last until my U/S on Oct. 22nd!)
